Pessimism·Circularism

This kind of very academic film, generally speaking, I would not take the initiative to touch it. I didn't dare to write a comment after reading it, even my thoughts. I am afraid that I will think too much, and I am even more afraid that I will be scolded for writing it down after thinking too much.
I read it half-asleep on such an uncommonly cold, damp gray winter afternoon.
After reading it, I lay in the warm bed for a while, then got up and turned on the computer.
I can't help but talk about my superficial impressions.
I seem to have only seen Truffaut's film "400 Blows", and I haven't seen any introduction to him. This film makes me think that he is a bit pessimistic, expressing the helplessness of life and the inability of destiny in a way similar to the historical cycle theory.
The pianist met three lovely women successively. The first two he pushed away in a similar way, and they both died unfortunately. Thirdly, they were still in love at first sight similar to the first two times, and the latter is unknown, but it makes people faintly worried.
After he murdered in self-defense, he fled to the woods in the wilderness, and the conversation with his younger brother revealed that their seniors were also in a mess because of crimes. The misfortune of the family is projected on them again.
The pianist played the piano well and became famous for it. He is handsome, handsome, and charming. Why is life so unfortunate.
Of course, he has character weaknesses. In him, in addition to the romantic feelings of the French, there is also an oriental subtlety, forbearance and repression. He didn't dare to face his true self, but he finally chose to give up his strong desire. It's hard to imagine such a character fighting against fate.
But maybe he is also a mirror for us. We also make ridiculous choices from time to time. Looking back, I don't know if it was right or wrong, wise or weak.
I don't know if what Truffaut wants to say is to make people fool, or to make people stand firm.
