The film tells the dark and desperate story of a black girl named cherish who lives at the bottom. She was ugly, fat, and clumsy. Her father started assaulting her when she was three and she was only 16 and had two children, her father's children. Her mother ignored his father's brutality and tortured and abused Treasure in various ways.
What a fucking story!
This kind of life makes people shudder just thinking about it. It's hard to imagine how Zhen Ai survived day by day, and it's hard to imagine how long and how her life would go on without the help of her teacher Ryan. She said how much I wish I was dead. However, even with such a life, this girl named Zhenai never gave up. She is still working hard, still with longing and dreams. At the end of the film, Zhen Ai finally escaped from that devil-like family and beast parents, and left with a smile of her two children. The director and screenwriter seem to want to use this to tell us that no matter how miserable life is, no matter how desperate, there is always hope. But why is this hope so heavy? !
To cherish is to be looked up to and respected. In fact, what is worth looking up to is not cherishing, but never giving up on life itself. No matter where they are, there are always some people at the bottom of society who are struggling to survive. Although they are in the darkest corner, despite being humble as dust, they still strive to live, even if only alive.
Recently watching the BBC documentary Planet Earth: Swans have to fly over Mount Everest in order to migrate to warm places, and the risk of flying over the world's highest mountain is as great as the risk of freezing to death in the north. The blue sheep living on bare rocks in the mountains, the eyeless fish living in the dark underground, the killifish living in the high-temperature "Death Valley", the emperor penguins who do not eat or drink at minus 40 degrees for several months and hatch their eggs... .. In all extremely harsh environments, in environments where people thought that life would not exist, there are always such strange creatures living, struggling to survive. And, almost everywhere.
All these struggling lives are worthy of respect! Life itself, the never giving up of life itself, is enough for us to look up forever.
Salute to all life. May the sun shine in every corner.
