Ironic first, then inspirational... So I wilted...

This movie was said to be watched a long time ago, the reason is that Ewan McGergor is not one It's not easy for me to get up and watch such a boring movie after lying down until eight o'clock...
This movie is probably about...
a man staring at a goat... [Pafei! Push the film and give me a good push! 】

Okay...

Ewan McGregor's Bob in the film is a reporter. Because a meat group in the office died suddenly of a heart attack, his wife ran away with his one-armed boss... (Don't ask me what's the connection ... to see for yourself... [You are too lazy to say it...]) In desperation, this fellow pretended to join the army in the Middle East (to be exact, Iraq...) in order to get angry or prove something to his ex-wife, and tried to infiltrate Iraq conducts field news coverage.
In Kuwait, Bob met a private builder who he had heard about from an unconnected uncle in previous interviews, Lyn played by George Clooney (← hello hello...), and begged the latter to take him across the border.
Lyn used to be a special force in the U.S. Army originally code-named "Project Jedi". The goal of this program... In Lyn's own words, it is to train super soldiers... Their unit code-named was "New Earth Army"
Lyn And a small group of soldiers seek "Jedi superpowers" under the special training method of Vietnam Veteran Hippie Bill (Jess Bridges) [actually, drugs...], and the spiritual idea with peace as the main theme defeats the enemy...
The whole film is based on A series of terrifying and mostly self-inflicted hardships with Bob and Lyn in Iraq interspersed with Lyn's previous training under Bill, with Bob as the narrator. Personally, I think the way of narration and the story itself are very good. Although there are continuous tense and past tense, there is no confusion in the narrative. The director's skill is evident.

Because of the addition of Ewan, although it is an American film, this film always gives me a British taste, which is not like the usual carefreeness of American films, which is a bit playful.
In the whole film, although Lyn has been emphasizing that "I have super powers", and he is constantly throwing smoke bombs in small things [coins, memories, etc.], but anyone with a discerning eye can see that superpowers are all Fool, everything is still resolved by force.
What makes me happy is that even when the two groups of Americans are fighting on the streets of Iraq for some reason, Ewan still doesn't forget to complain. It always reminds me of his rants in Trainspotting.
Always very eggy, always hit the nail on the head.

However, American films are not as good as British films
that can’t learn the sense of humour that owes death to black and black to the end,
so in the end, it gave me inspiration again...
So I wilted like the title...

Lao Tzu was stunned . It can be seen from the front that you are clearly complaining about this kind of war that is trying to cover up and disrespecting mother earth, etc. The world is like a fool, everyone is the ruthlessness of a black crow !
[Well... I mentioned it... It's that Bob really admires Lyn's belief in superpowers and hopes that he can have such a firm belief...]
[But that's just a mention. Ah huh! ! ! ! 】

Hey...Although I was speechless at the end, this film is also one of the films worth recommending recently, and it's not worth my expectations for Ewan
JQ, although I thought at first that Lyn/Bob turned into Bill/ Lyn, but it might as well be

because of Ewan. He

still wears that face that is beautiful even in the sun The standing posture, you have to look like a ghost!

【I am complete...】

[This person has ascended to heaven, burning paper, and digging graves. If he is not in the coffin, he is probably watching a natural stupid child.]

The Men Who Stare at Goats quotes

  • Bob Wilton: It wasn't the Dim Mak that was killing Lyn. And it wasn't the cancer. He was dying of a broken heart. And maybe, the cancer as well.

  • Brigadier General Dean Hopgood: Did you crash those computers?

    Lyn Cassady: Yes, sir.

Brigadier General Dean Hopgood: Far fuckin' out.
