Love this thing, if you don't experience it yourself, any opinions from others are useless. Just like the crap that the psychiatrist said, the heroine still screwed up in the end. Is the ending realistic? I don't think so. This is probably a peerless good man written by female screenwriters wishful thinking. Few men can accept a woman's infidelity, not to mention that the man is divorced because of it. Maybe it's because the previous filming was too comedy, I really can't figure out why JANE rejected JACK. Men love because of sex, which is not bad at all. After getting tired of sex life for the purpose of having children, he suddenly tasted the joy of cheating. Of course, men want to go further, especially after discovering the independence of women and the warmth of family . The woman is caught in an inexplicable "complexity". If she was despised as a mistress before, why did she refuse it later? Just one night's missed appointment and one night's love can hardly be worth the revival of old love for decades. . So, I still think it's the female writers that made JANE "must" leave JACK. People often describe this kind of relationship as being overwhelmed with water, but decades of love can’t be described as lifeless water. Love is complicated, and it’s a dilemma.
Meryl Streep's performance remains high, Martin is out of the comedy, and Baldwin's belly is out.
