My rating of "Out of Africa" : Excellent
The film's excellence doesn't need to be discussed much. It is a classic among classics. The plot, performances, and pictures are all excellent, and the original soundtrack has been around for three days. After watching such a good film, if the soul is not touched at all, I will stop watching arty and artistic films, and it is better to watch simple and clear TV series.
However, in addition to the benefits of this film that everyone has said, I have another experience, that is, the importance of the protection of the ecological environment to human beings. Because if the story in the film is placed in a reinforced concrete city, it will be nothing more than a tragic emotional drama, not even earth-shattering at all, just the grade of a saliva TV series. But once the background of the story is changed to the vast African savannah, the level of the whole work will be greatly improved. On the one hand, it is the impermanence of human affairs, and on the other hand, it is the vastness of nature. From the girl who lived a dissolute and vain life at the beginning, she grew into a woman with deep feelings, generosity and kindness. Therefore, I think this film pays more attention to its ecological significance: after all, human beings are the products of nature, and they have a heart-to-heart connection with nature. To destroy nature is to destroy our own soul. In the reinforced concrete city, there are only shallow joys and pains, and the streets are full of feasts. I only see The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead.
