A stupid piece of shit

Too many injuries. It seems that the selling point of the movie is that when the box button is pressed, the previous person who presses the box button will be killed by their spouse, creating a loop. But the problem is that there is no inevitability between the two, what if someone didn't press the box button, what if the husband didn't shoot his wife? As a thriller and suspense, such a logical loophole is unforgivable. In addition, a large part of the plot in the middle is all conspiracy and a waste of time. What role does the husband fall into the bed at home through the water gate to advance the plot? What role does the son's babysitter and other controlled characters play? In fact, the first half hour and the last 20 minutes of this film is almost the whole story. It is probably a 45-minute series that you can watch.

The Box quotes

  • Martin Teague: Sir? If you don't mind my asking... why a box?

Arlington Steward: Your home is a box. Your car is a box on wheels. You drive to work in it. You drive home in it. You sit in your home, staring into a box. It erodes your soul, while the box that is your body inevitably withers... then dies. Whereupon it is placed in the ultimate box, to slowly decompose.

Martin Teague: It's quite depressing, if you think of it that way.

Arlington Steward: Don't think of it that way... think of it as a temporary state of being.

  • Arlington Steward: I'm sorry, but I have a very busy day.
