If everyone had their own Elizabethtown.

I'm thinking that people who are serious about watching a romantic comedy will be disappointed when they finish this film.
Because, this story, um, how do I put it...

DREW's tragedy, I think, is more of a bad joke.
Yes, at least for this reason I would never commit suicide.
Well, I haven't done a gold collar, so I don't know what it's like to fall off the top.
DREW threw away all the furniture and turned an exercise bike into a rather hilarious suicide tool.
Before dying, he saw that the furniture below had been quickly removed.
Those people, dancing with joy.

The world is like this, the earth spins as freely as everyone else.
Your departure, and your imminent departure, will only affect those who love you.

As a result, the cold joke-like suicide was interrupted by an even colder joke.
My father, who went to his hometown to visit relatives, passed away. As the eldest son, DREW must let go of his thought of dying at this moment when he really wants to die, and
rush to his hometown where he has never returned to bring his father back.

So, the story begins.

To be honest, after watching the whole play, I was a little confused.
Several times I felt as if I was watching a Korean movie.
Those small bits and pieces, those swaying points,
it is said that the play we are seeing now was edited two hours after participating in the film festival.
Huh, no wonder. The story is really a little bit, not smooth.

But that was a cold joke.
Last night, I, who was also constantly cold by fate, cuddled in the quilt.
On this cold winter night, I looked at the world casually with the beautiful and somewhat outrageous handsome British guy.
That overly enthusiastic stewardess,
The cousin who has a son but is still keen on rock and roll,
those unfamiliar but naturally warm relatives,
the newlyweds who hold a noisy wedding,
the funeral that almost turned into a farce, and
the nervous mother's sad sister...
There is that BEN who knows if it really exists.

And what is DREW thinking,
I think, he must be constantly thinking in his heart:
Well, after I bring my dad back, I will continue to complete my own suicide.
No one can change, NO ONE.

However, I believe that all people who have been cold by fate have the same experience,
yes, fate.
So I ended up in tears when my mother put down the mic and started tap dancing.
This startling comedic, neurotic mom
ended up speaking at a funeral,
so stubborn and beautiful.

This is good love,
it will not wither because it leaves, but live with more vitality.
Her performance perfectly conquered everyone below, especially her children.

And from that detail, I suddenly found that DREW's eyes changed.
Well, true education is never by words.
Rather, what do you do yourself.

Like I'm fine.
As Claire said to DREW when he first met him--
Trust me, everybody is less mysterious than they think they are

Later DREW started his trip, the girl in the red hat gave him a big map,
DREW took his father with him of ashes, fasten his seatbelt,
To complete a long overdue private trip for father and son.

That part was great.
It's a pity that maybe that's what makes the whole film seem detached.
To be honest, I also feel a little awkward about the happy ending arranged by the director at the end,
but after all, this movie is a love story, hehe.

I think I'll keep this movie.
After all, take 10,000 steps back, an Orlando face is a healing type, haha~

Finally, I want to say, don't watch this drama too seriously.
If you've never been cold by fate, don't watch it.
And if you are so cold that you can't get up. . . Then you don't have to watch it, it's better to get drunk or sleep deeply.
It's better to be cold by fate: go to die, go overboard; live, that kind of tangled phase.

Hehe, if everyone had their own Elizabethtown.
Don't miss 60B. Remember~ :)

Elizabethtown quotes

  • Drew Baylor: I see you right there. I see you right there.

    Claire Colburn: There you are.

  • Drew Baylor: You know, there is nothing greater than deciding in your life that things maybe really are black and white! And this guy Ben, who clearly takes you for granted, who serially takes advantage of you, is bad! And what I'm saying is good! See what I mean? You shouldn't be the substitute for anybody. This guy should be right here, right now, doing this
