The studio is full of the fragrance of roses

"The studio was filled with the strong fragrance of roses. The summer breeze rustled through the garden woods, sending the scent of lilac, and perhaps the lighter fragrance of pink-flowered hawthorn, into the open (The studio was filled with the rich odour of roses, and when the light summer wind stirred amidst the trees of the garden, there came through the open door the heavy scent of the lilac, or the more delicate perfume of the pink- flowering thorn.)" The

novel begins with the background of various floral arrangements, and then the painter depicts the handsome image of Dao Lin Yunxiu. Youth and beauty are like flowers blooming now and dying tomorrow, no wonder Dorian longed to keep his face intact.

When Dorian found out that he was really young and immortal, he was just as dedicated to squandering his treasures as we mortals find themselves with inexhaustible money and time. Then when he played 3P4P5P6P... LES, GAY, SM everything, he was agitated in front of Sybil's grave. He cried, not for pure and beautiful Sybil, not for roses, nor for lilacs and pale pink hawthorns.

Thinking back to when he first arrived in London, he was as young and lovable as a sunflower. Now it has become a black dahlia, with only a heart that is out of shape, and can only appreciate the joy of being out of shape.

When I was younger, I wished I could become an adult sooner. I know that there are many opportunities in this society, many joys that are only open to adults. Although I didn't encounter Henry's mouth curling up to teach me cynicism, and although I didn't have the capital of Dorian to play with everything, it is inevitable that I have been vicissitudes of life after hanging around for so long. I still like that kind of greenness and purity, and I still yearn for that kind of sunshine and dreams. If he could choose again, would Dowling give up his unchanging appearance and accompany the roses and lilacs to wither and wither into a different beauty?
