Time flies. Now I'm getting so lost that I wonder if the writers will be able to tell the story in the final season. Maybe the whole season will end with explaining the suspense left before... PB ended weakly, and the two brothers, whose parents were obviously gone, first came back with their missing father, and then their dead mother was resurrected... Only four seasons have been forced to play the trick of resurrection, and some dramas really only need the first season. Grey's Anatomy has gone from a very humanistic and caring, little gossip, little love, and very novel cases to a very good-looking and beautiful American drama, and finally reduced to a chaos of group sex between a group of doctors and nurses... No way, bring Dramatic American dramas with a serial nature often inevitably have a day when Jiang Lang's talents are exhausted.
In the blink of an eye, Monk is also over. I think it was the detective complex that I had since I was a child that made me pick it out from the huge number of American dramas recommended in that diary. Just like its ratings, this drama is always tepid, but you just can't let it go. This is really not a detective drama in the traditional sense. There are no handsome guys and no beauties in it, (but Natalie is not bad), the protagonist detective is not a handsome young man like Kudo Shinichi, or even a mature and prudent person exuding elegance. A mature man, but a very ordinary-looking middle-aged strange uncle with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Each episode is about a different case, and the only thing that can barely be called the main story is Trudy's death, but it's basically only mentioned in the last episode of each season. The case is usually a bit exciting but not as heart-wrenching as PB. There is always a little humor but it doesn't make you laugh like friends. The plot is not very coherent, but it has been out for eight seasons in obscurity. And, looking back, really every episode was a classic.
This is an American drama that you can watch without getting tired of watching many episodes in a row, but if you don't watch it, you may not miss it. Because of this, knowing that the eighth season is already the last season, the feeling that a habitual thing in life is suddenly torn off is the real sadness. Season 8 always had some "I'm leaving you" messages from time to time, like when Shrona came back suddenly, played an episode with Natalie, and kissed Randy before leaving. This plot, which obviously has the meaning of the curtain call of all the actors before the end of the play, is obviously not sensational or even a bit funny, but the feeling that the curtain is over for a while will force your tears unknowingly.
The penultimate season. Mr. Monk is dying of poison, Natalie asks him, can I get you something, like tea?
Monk said, bring me Trudy's present.
I cried a lot and couldn't explain it in ordinary language. I have to use a plot from another American drama to illustrate. Matthew asked the playboy Barney that the moment when a person felt like he was going to die before being hit by a car, he must be thinking of his favorite thing. What are you thinking of?
After asking, Matthew answered for Barney himself, it must be a big wave of women! Lily said, it must be whisky! Matthew also said that it must be a big wave of women who can squeeze out whiskey!
And that Barney, who was lying on the bed wrapped in various bandages like a zongzi, spent his whole life surrounded by thousands of flowers, and Barney, whose leaves did not touch his body, cast his gentle eyes on his own answer amid the laughter of his friends- --- Robin.
To adapt a phrase that has become popular recently, there are always two teenagers in a woman's life. One amazing time, one gentle years.
Adrian Monk, you must know who you are.
On the evening of December 4th, US time, the last episode of the final season of Detective Amon aired. This American drama, which is not well-known to Chinese audiences, has gone through eight seasons in silence.
