The original on TV. While I was running around in the hall, my German was not good enough, the vernacular was blind, and the subtitles were broken. . .
Under such circumstances, I didn't pay much attention to it at first, thinking that this movie is about the story of a fringe person who is self-inflicted by angry youths like you and me. Do what you want, let's do it, then this wild horse will not have to come back under the quilt like us, put on a suit and go to work obediently. The second generation of Turkish immigrants in Germany, aren't they the same as the Arab immigrants who fill the streets here? Moreover, compared with North Africa, Turkey is always more Europeanized.
Tears came slowly. . . A woman like Sibel is what the ancient Chinese called a bad face. It seems that the Muslim world or Asan's literature also has such a beautiful and seductive inner woman. It is finally regarded as a viper that destroys men - so the world of these (these) men determines their mortal fate as the natural enemy of men. At the same time, her fate is entangled in a complex rubber band sphere, such as the cultural contradiction between the Turkish immigrant society and the local German society, and the fierce conflict between the lost youth and the traditional social order. The hero's fate is relatively simple.
And my heart is in love with Sibel. She is actually so kind, beautiful and brave. She is instinctively looking for a way out, seeking the strength to fight against the fatalist outlook on life given by the heavy cultural tradition of her Turkish immigrant family, and the strength to fight against the scorn or abuse of the surrounding German citizens.
The different fates of the hostess and the hostess reached their peak when they returned to their home countries (the second generation of Turkish immigrants in Western Europe generally retained dual citizenship and two passports). Sibel seems to be returning to tradition, and Cahit seems to be cornered and alone. However, back in Turkey, as a male and a European immigrant, Cahit's social status has risen sharply, which may heal his decadence in the first half of his life in Germany; and for Sibel, the social atmosphere of the Turkish native city is relatively more old-fashioned than Germany's Immigrant families are more open and tolerant.
Very interesting movie. Different groups of people can see different resonances. This is also a summary of my review of the movie here.
