PPS named it "New Alice in Wonderland"

I casually flipped through PPS, and in the animation, I turned to "New Alice in Wonderland". I thought it was Tim Button's movie, so I went in and watched it, only to find out that the name was "Rising Tide Coast".
When I first saw this little girl, I thought the plot was a switch between reality and fairy tales. After reading it, I found out that the little girl was only living in her own fantasy world. In fact, she knew everything, but she could not accept the cruelty of reality and chose to avoid the world. Attitude, looking for warmth in life and eager to grow up. The characters in the play are obviously marginalized in society, living in a situation of being excluded, and can only live in their own world. Because they are all too lonely, they imagine a whole set of their own world logic.
A blind "witch girl" made a lot of specimens at home, trying to keep them all around, including animals and people, and created a small world of her own, but had to sell her body to make ends meet, this is the reality On the other hand, it is still unavoidable.
The epileptic "captain" is the younger brother of the "Witch" and has been fantasizing about driving a submarine to hunt down sharks - the train that was last bombed. Despite his grotesque behavior, he is still a good boy, eager to be loved and able to understand the world of little girls. But they will never be together.
The little girl has 4 dolls with different personalities who can talk to her. She puts her fingers on the doll's head all day and walks around wearing it. The expressions of these four dolls are vivid and can change with the changes of the plot. Very meticulous processing. It seems that these doll heads are really alive.
In the fantasy of the little girl, the cruelty and influence of reality are always reflected. She fantasized about being able to form a warm family with the "captain", but in fact she was hungry and wanted a stable relationship to ensure that she could solve her livelihood and fill her stomach. . .
The last train was bombed, and the little girl was noticed by a lady in a "normal" world who wanted to help her. This ending is far-fetched and doesn't quite fit the style of the previous movie. To be honest, they should have taken violent actions because their respective worlds were invaded, and finally achieved liberation by dying. . .
It was the first time I came across this type of film, and I really admired the imagination of the screenwriter and the skill of the director.

Gilliam must have been created by God to be the enemy of this world~ Relying on an innocent child's face as a foil, using beautiful words to decorate all sorrows, and burying cynic feelings into every corner of the camera ~Terry uses two hours of gossip and black performance art to weave his own fairy tale, I won't buy your old account this time~

Hate this self-indulgent accusation. Moreover, in the end, it is not to embrace the warmth of the world. A few characters are also really contrived. It's far from Pan's Labyrinth, and I don't know why someone would put the two films together. Pan's Labyrinth is the real accusation that war insinuates reality, there is really no fairy tale, instead of not knowing what is in a nightmare like this. The only thing that touches me about this film is that in the desolate grassland, dell, dickens, and rose cannot be together in an intimate way in the end. Loneliness is a state of perpetuity, even if the 38th little girl tried her best, but The three ended up being strangers. The train that finally derailed broke this dreamlike grassland, and then just returned like this, it sucks! ! poor dell and dick
