The first film has attracted a large number of fans with its decadent picture style, hearty movements, strong muscles and handsome guys, French-style humor, and fast-paced rap music. At the same time, it also promoted the trendy sport of parkour (or cool running?). The second part inherits the above style very well. Maybe the ending of the first part was too closed to continue, maybe because the government officials in the previous work were too low-level, Luc Besson first arranged for the government to backtrack, and then directly moved the president out. The gangs of District 13 are portrayed as a group of "new" citizens who love life and are united and friendly, while the government consists of a group of unscrupulous, corrupt and dirty politicians. In the end, 30 warriors made a riot at the Presidential Palace with their bare hands, saving District 13 again. With such a script, I can only say that Luc Besson is probably a fairy tale as he gets older, or he is a complete anarchist. It's ridiculous to believe in the Constitution rather than Mormonism. There was no clear gang identity in the first episode, and it's obvious in this work: Asian, black, Eastern European and Arab, which is quite realistic.
The cute little sister in the first episode did not appear again, but the Asian sister is also a romantic character.
