First of all, I have to say that the two of them are too old. I have never seen such an old detective, with wrinkles on their face and fat all over their body. They have to work hard to solve the case, and they have to come to sex. Then there is the script of a play. The story cannot be told badly, but it always feels lacking in novelty and depth. There is nothing wrong with the performances of these two people, but they acted into a literary film without realizing it. To put it bluntly, this story is not worthy of the performance of the two old men. The two played against each other a lot, but they were not as good as the few minutes in "Stealing Fire".
It was a pity for movie fans all over the world that there was no significant rivalry in the heyday, but this mediocre work was left in the twilight years.
