The name of the movie is a love story, and it is also a love story. This story is simple and ordinary, but it still touched me. Oliver and Jenny, who are both in college, met in the library, and their polar opposite personalities left a deep impression on each of them. The two come from very different backgrounds, Oliver has a huge fortune, while Jenny is only the daughter of a baker. But their love was unbreakable, even if it wasn't recognized by Oliver's parents. Facing graduation, their marriage broke Oliver and his father. Oliver went to law school to continue his studies, while Jenny worked as a music teacher at a private school. The two lived in poverty, but they were still happy. Oliver and his father's deadlock Jenny has been brooding, and quarreled with Oliver for this reason. Oliver was never able to overcome the hurdle of his father. Oliver graduated with honors and entered a law firm to work, and Jenny was able to rest at home and hope to conceive a child. There is always some hardship in a happy story, but life gives the lovers more than hardship. Jenny suffers from a blood disease, and Oliver is told that he will lose Jenny. Oliver complied with the doctor's orders and treated Jenny as usual, but he still couldn't hide from the smart Jenny's eyes. Oliver took the $5,000 check from his father and said thank you for the first time. At that moment, the stubborn old man's eyes were full of surprise and relief. But Oliver's eyes were full of sadness. Facing Jenny on the hospital bed, he promised everything that Jenny explained. Jenny left anyway. Oliver's father expressed his apology when he heard the news, "Love never say sorry", Oliver said this to his father as Jenny had told him before.
Perhaps because of the age of the film, I distinguish it from contemporary romance films before watching it. The tone of the film is like a yellowed old photo, with the classic theme, full of nostalgia and sentimentality. In fact, Oliver's monologue at the beginning of the film is destined to be a sad love story. But most of the episodes are happy and heartwarming. Jenny's naughty bickering, Oliver's silly smile, the two rolled and kissed in the snow, reviewed books together, made progress together, and worked together. Love is like this, there is always someone who makes you feel angry, there is always someone who makes you smile, and there is always someone who makes you feel safe. Love never say sorry, maybe that's the heart of the whole story. Whether it's family or love, let it be in your heart.
