This movie is so classic, the first hour is family ethics, the second hour is martial arts fighting. 1967 was the golden age of Toshiro Mifune. In the film, he showed Saburo Harai's strength, determination and sense of responsibility to a terrifyingly high level. Although the characters in Kobayashi Masaki's work are a little weak, Mifune's perfect temperament and image make people see what a real man and a great father should do.
