screenwriter, Hayao Miyazaki's son is a little powerless. However, there is still something very touching. Alas, I've never liked Hayao Miyazaki's type of thing at all, but I watched the last episode of his and Ghibli movie without landing. After The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, Japan had a time when stories about magic were all the rage. Archmage Hyde in Earth-Sea War looks like a copy of Gandalf. That scene of Gandalf's resurrection is also my favorite in Lord of the Rings.
All in all, this film feels a little bit of a cohesive piece. When I want to be high, those discussions about life are a bit laborious and superficial. And the previous suspense doesn't seem to be clearly explained, it's just filling time. What is the philosophy of my novels and films? There must be a story in the background. This story is not a sentence, just add meat to it, but a living thing with vitality. Art is not created for creation's sake. It is because there is such a story that must be told, so there is a sense of mission to write it down. The story is over, that person, that thing should continue to live in the parallel world.
But this movie is totally worth killing time, especially the moments of turning into a dragon and hugging later are really touching. If I watch it in a movie theater with the music, my tears will definitely flow. Now I look at it with earplugs on my laptop, it's just a little cute.
