splayed back collar

Just finished watching it, and I'm really impressed. I read a few books about geisha recently, one of them is called "The Story of a Geisha", and I was attracted by one of the illustrations, which is a still from "Memoirs of a Geisha", which shows Ma Miwa in the bathroom teaching Chiyo how to please Man, the two people in the dense background are really a beautiful painting, so I immediately found this movie and savored it carefully.
At first glance, I was attracted by the music of the story, and suddenly fell into another world, away from the world. Little Chiyo is very beautiful, her hazy eyes in the drizzle, and the smile like a cherry blossom by the bridge, is the ultimate. Hatsomo was beyond my expectations, her messy hairstyle that was always draped diagonally, her swearing tone with her nose pointed, her sarcasm at the tea party, and the graceful, gentle and noble quality of a geisha I know There seems to be a big difference, but when I saw the hysteria of her arson, I was truly shocked. What kind of anger, what kind of sadness, and what kind of determination, that black and white plain clothes under the dark night When she left, she looked back, still so stubborn and so arrogant. Although she didn't look like a geisha to me, she showed me a real woman.
Ma Meiyu is really amazing in the film. From the beginning of the scene, the camera gradually shoots from a low place to the faint kimono. The step-by-step approach has established her beauty and her pride. Her every move is a little more calm and elegant than Hatsumamo, and she is more plump and attractive than Sayuri's image. She had loved, although she was reluctant to admit it, but it was this kind of reluctance that reflected the sorrow of the geisha.
As for Chiyo, it perfectly shows the beauty of a geisha. The white neck is slightly splayed back. The standard shape of this geisha, the neck has always been regarded by the Japanese as one of the most beautiful places for women. Housewives put their collars up high, while geishas don't. They open their collars back to reveal their beautiful necks, and these are also deeply attracted to the men in the teahouses. People who can often come into contact with geisha are not ordinary people. They cannot appreciate this beauty without money. They may already have families, but most of these marriages are based on the needs of family interests. For their wives, many people have no feelings. The function of wives is only to pass on the lineage and satisfy the enjoyment of the flesh. At such times, geisha conquered and satisfied them with their unique beauty, demeanor, conversation, and skills. Some people have summed up the needs of the spiritual world well. The so-called geisha is actually talking about a spiritual love with the guests. Moreover, they do not sell their bodies. The belt on the kimono is their way of expressing this principle to the outside world. One, it's just that the sex of geisha seems to be emphasized too much in this film, and about art, except for the dance in the snow that Sayuri danced and some folding fan dances, and Ma Meiyu playing the shamisen, the others are not. Many, but fortunately, I can see the dress of the geisha from the details. When I read the book, I said that their clothes are very expensive. After World War II, the famous geisha Iwasaki Mineko said that her clothes when she first appeared were about a hundred thousand yuan. Yuan, and that set of clothes weighed 20 pounds, so beauty was taken for granted at such a price.
As for Chiyo himself, from the cry when he was sold at the beginning, to climbing on the roof where he stumbled to find his sister, from the touching smile on the small bridge to the slightly exposed neck later, from the dream that began to grow after seeing the chairman. Later, the sacrifices I made for my dream step by step, every move affected me tightly, making me unable to extricate myself in this beautiful world, and I was reluctant to leave, and the final reunion ending was a bit abrupt and different from that of ordinary geisha. The ending is a bit different, but I still like it. Such a beautiful geisha deserves a beautiful ending.
Their faces are painted in thick white clothes, just so that people can't see the joys and sorrows on their faces;
their thick clothes and slightly pulled collars make up for the beauty that people rarely see;
they have superb skills, Sing, dance, play, talk, all make people fascinated;
They are synonymous with the beauty of the Japanese nation, but they are so lonely and desolate, behind the prosperity, lonely intolerable. Perhaps these loneliness adds to their beauty.
