Trans-Siberia

This is a thought-provoking movie.

Siberia is a beautiful, mysterious and cold place. Thousands of kilometers, the snow is vast, the temperature is more than minus 20 degrees, and people's characters are wild and rigid because of this.
Suspicion, adultery, drug trafficking, deceit, and murder appear on the train that traverses the frozen continent.

Passers-by, police officers, and little girls all wore other faces under the masks.

What makes us so uneasy inside?
What makes us lose our minds so easily?

The movie itself is bloody, I just yearn for this railway too much

The narrative is smooth, the perspective is novel, cruel and real, but the foreshadowing in front is a little boring... The male protagonist has impressed me too deeply with a perverted murderer, and it is always a bit different to play a good person. The heroine is really looking for trouble.

Transsiberian quotes

  • Grinko: In Russia, we have expression. "With lies, you may go ahead in the world, but you may never go back." Do you understand this, Jessie?

  • Roy: [competing with other passenger's tiger scar] Hey, look at this. A deer attacked me.

    passenger: A deer?

Roy: Yeah, a John Deer power mower!
