What is righteousness?

A very shocking movie, so shocking that I don't want to watch it again, I can't stand the excitement. The film doesn't fall into the cliché to excuse Sean Penn, but it shows him as a person very objectively and truthfully. Everything true, brutal, cruel, cowardly, and vulnerable, the film doesn't shy away from a heinous crime that can't be forgiven, but Susan Sarandon's nun chooses a different point of view, and what she sees is not just She is a thug with heinous crimes, and a soul weighed down by her own crimes. Her perseverance has clearly transcended crime and punishment.
The final torture scene of the film is quite shocking, facing Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, who are full of fear of death. Soothing his last soul through the glass window, and witnessing the death of such a well-deserved person, I am afraid that no one will feel great comfort.
What is justice? Is it really necessary to achieve justice by taking lives from each other? Is such revenge really necessary to be liberated? Rather than shoot the bad guy, choose hatred and revenge, Sarandon chose a more difficult path because of her beliefs.
In fact, this is a very Movies that can interpret the Christian spirit, eyes to eyes tooth for tooth or love you enemy.
Also, I don’t want to make this society hostile because of the so-called justice

Is this a legal movie or a religious movie? Preaching too much. Well done by Sean Penn.
