, I'm not a believer, but I still feel this amazing grace. Maybe it didn't come from God, but from those kind and brave souls like William.
Just like any mortal, they gave up and escaped, but they also regained the courage to stand up and start again with nothing. William, who was once regarded as a joke by everyone in the Congress Hall, dragged his seriously ill body again and again, facing all the doubts and slanders with a haggard but firm face.
That was the moment when I first began to believe that perhaps the most loved person in the world was not the God they created and believed in, but themselves and all people like William.
God did not appear when innocent people in Africa were suffering, nor did he punish with lightning and thunder the nobles who profited from the blood of slaves. And this thin and seriously ill man, again and again, runs around for people he has never met, and stands up for them. Perhaps the believers all over the world can argue that it was God who sent William to save the suffering African people, but if the halo of saving the world must be built on the souls of countless people who have suffered and died, then I disdain to respect the so-called God .
William is just a mortal, but when he finally stood there waiting for the bill to pass, his body seemed to exude a light that made people want to cry.
Although this is just a movie, instead of believing in a God created by man, I am more willing to believe in people like William, and hope to be a brave and kind person like him.
