no scare effect

The name "Terrorist Ruins" sounds majestic. I thought it was a large ruin with countless dead people, but the ruins were just a small Mayan temple. The content was not very scary or disgusting. Why the ruins are so dangerous and do not do any blocking; why those plants will only grow on the ruins and not spread; why the guards don't shoot them directly with arrows after they climb up the ruins, After all, they've all touched those plants; why didn't Matthias pass out in pain when he amputated his leg... It feels bloody for blood's sake, and the atmosphere, characters, etc. have not been handled well.

So-so. . Plants that make anthropomorphic sounds. . . Hosting through animal bodies is still a bit creative. However, the ending was flat and lackluster. Another foreshadowing.

The basic plot of this type of travel-style adventure horror film is to walk towards the routine of sending heads in groups and bloody massacres. Modern people's pursuit of the unknown and wild has become a journey of death. The only new killer plants have unclear cause and effect. The scene is pitiful. A mediocre and boring work.
