A movie that is both real and fantasy

A very suspenseful movie with a tight plot and a gripping one.
Another extraordinarily warm ending to the film: the heartbroken mother Laura, who forever guards the lost little Simon, disappears with her childhood friend into the brilliant light of the beacon.
You can think that Simon was just playing alone and accidentally fell, or that Simon's last wish "I hope you will always stay and take care of us" is just wishful thinking of a heartbroken mother. You can also think that all those ghosts actually don't exist, but you can't deny the mother's love that the film preaches.

The human part of mother's love reminds me of a supernatural puzzle; the ghost should appear when it should appear; it is not very well understood. It needs to rely on spoilers and movie reviews, which means it is a good movie that is worth aftertaste and watching many times; the last five It's kind of scary when the kid finally shows up; there's a lot of good Spanish movies out there.
