Lost passion, become mature and stable, become a part of society, become a small nut of a big machine, and begin to grow old, or die. Yes, is it not death to lose the most primitive vitality? Leaving the campus, we think it is the beginning of a new life, but it is only downgraded to survival. No matter how much money you make or how big a mansion you live in, it's just survival. Because there is no longer one thing that can make you excited and sleepless, can make you sleepless but enjoy it, and can make you feel the calling from the bottom of your heart.
After staying in HKUST for three years, my identification with this school is deepening. I am grateful that it has given me the steadfastness and diligence that I lack most. But I can't find passion here, and I can't find the publicity of vitality. Looking down at the road for a long time will naturally not see the beauty in the distance, or willingly believe that it is just a mirage. What's more terrifying than losing the infinite possibilities is not believing that there are infinite possibilities at all. When everything finally revolves around jobs, paychecks, and houses, so-called people are really nothing more than wild animals defending their territory and their prey. And it is precisely this reality that we are constantly reminded to face to consider. Some people protect research and some people go abroad, but few people can explain why they do it, and no one can explain what they really want. We always keep ourselves busy with various educations, but in the end we don’t even understand why we are educated.
The events in the film do not discuss the possibility in reality, such an idea alone can only be thought of by Americans. Encourage everyone to find their dreams and live for them, maybe America. I was less hesitant.
