All in all, what I want to say is that the Julie & Julia movie reminds me of that warm feeling right from the start. Under the compact and joyful background music, although there is no Central Park, the Parisian hostess Julia and her husband live happily and simply. Yes, I came to a foreign country and didn't want to continue the boring government job but didn't know what else to do, but Julia knew exactly what she loved most. With an American character, she has always laughed, and even practiced cutting onions with a sense of vigor and a confidence of "yes, I'm sure, I will surpass you". How can a person be so passionate? I couldn't help but be infected by this aunt's character. When I saw her, I felt a bright color in front of me. (Meryl Streep's old drama is really what it is!)
On the other side, in New York, but there is no big house, the heroine Julie moved to the upstairs of the pizza shop next to the railway for her husband's work. Life is a bit frustrating. I hear people complaining, sympathy and sadness day after day, but I can't do anything. Friends gather and all are busy with life. Only myself, only myself, working for work, never able to achieve what I really want. . Naturally, Julia's recipe, no, perhaps it should be said that Julia's bright light became a straw for her to change her life...
However, since the movie says these are two true stories, we have to talk about the similarity of the two stories. If it wasn't for her husband's encouragement and French recipes, Julia in Paris would not have reached the stage of publishing her works. Otherwise, who would listen to her anecdotes and complaints about learning to cook every day. If it wasn't for her husband's idea, how could Julie, a little woman in New York with little action, have signed up for a blog and seemingly came up with a project. In my opinion, the most tender scene in the whole film is from two husbands with similar identities in different time and space, secretly swallowing digestive pills in the bathroom. Although the film does not indicate at all that the process of changing dishes into recipes and from recipes to dishes is going in which direction, but in most cases, a family of two, isn't it just you and me who get along with each other day and night? No matter what one party does well or badly, the other party always comes to share and take responsibility. Just like Julia in Paris comforted her husband when he was frustrated at work and said that he had nothing, there is also a recipe book, not mine, but ours.
In fact, after watching the video, what I want most is to go home and make food for my parents, and if I fail, I want to eat it... Hey Bon Appetite! :)
