, the fourteenth show of this year's Hong Kong International Film Festival, finally ushered in the most shocking one.
Originally, I watched the two hundred and forty minutes while holding on to the "Noriko's Dining Table" as I did last time. But this movie is so amazing that it can't be pulled away in less than 30 minutes. For two hundred and forty minutes, Sono Ziwen kept throwing questions at the audience, just like the "invisible" bullets around the heroine in the movie, it was inevitable. Until the end of the game, my body and mind were like being emptied, and I couldn't let go for a long time.
Yuanzi Wen, Yuanzi Wen, you still want to die without being surprised. However, this time, I was really impressed.
This movie talks about religion, about faith, about family, about sex, about perversion, and about love. In my opinion, what the director of the garden wants to say is nothing more than love. All the problems in the movie also come from the desire for love. In order to get his father's love, the male protagonist did all kinds of bad things, and even became a pervert who secretly photographed the bottom of his skirt; the male protagonist's father, in order to marry his lover, did not hesitate to give up his priesthood.
What exactly is love? What is true love?
Is the relationship between the priest and the crazy woman love? Is the love between the male protagonist and the female protagonist? At the new religious gathering, the priest admitted that he was with the crazy woman because of sex; the hero identified the heroine as "Maria" only because she was the only woman who could make her erect. Is this still love?
It seems that Yuan Ziwen wants to talk about pure love that doesn't matter in the world. But at the end of the film, director Yuan was seen to bring hope to the audience. After all these experiences, the priest can still say "I love you forever" to the crazy woman; the hero and heroine can finally rediscover their love for each other, even if the hero still remembers everything because of his erection.
The movie stopped abruptly when the two shook hands.
Is this the answer? For me, can't say yes either. Up to now, the question that Yuan Ziwen threw over is still lingering in his heart, and there is no final answer.
Yuanziwen, Yuanziwen, what else can you say about your next movie?
PS1 Discuss religious beliefs, analyze social issues, and let other qualified people do it...
PS2 I didn't expect Takahiro Nishijima and ひかり's performances to be so good.
The PS3 proves once again that Hong Kong audiences love to laugh while watching a movie. Laughing at the bottom of the skirt while secretly photographing it, laughing at the cutting of hands and feet and spouting blood...
PS4 suddenly wanted to watch the two episodes of Sono Ziwen for the two time-limited police.
