The last one, let's say goodbye

Finally finished watching "Prison Break", I forgot how long it lasted, one year, two years? On and off, it's finally over. Fortunately, the time has not blurred too many stories.
I thought I would write a lot, but I didn't know what to write and where to start. Fortunately, I no longer have to deal with an 800-word composition, and I can write freely and write wherever I want.
This is the first American drama I've watched in its entirety, so it's hard to make a comparison, but it's without a doubt the best TV series I've watched so far. Those who have seen the story know it, and those who haven't seen it say it in vain, so it's better not to say it, in order to avoid anything wrong.
I was deeply attracted at the beginning, in addition to the tension and excitement of the plot, there is another point that it seems to give you a possibility. I still don't understand what this possibility is, maybe it can bring you closer to some kind of reality. It's a pity that I'm an empty-headed guy who doesn't understand history, politics, culture and art. Otherwise, I can play a bit, and I'm very depressed thinking about it.
When you watch a lot of domestic soap operas and other junk, you can't help but be surprised at the excellent production of American dramas, and almost every detail has been carefully crafted. A friend said that they were making a movie, which not only reminded me of domestic movies, but once again I was frustrated and took it for granted: it is hard to imagine that so many directors would be satisfied with their works, and then they would shamelessly promote and show them!
Regarding the performance, I don't think there should be such a big gap in this thing, after all, it is not economic or something, but the result was disappointing again. Our performances are too heavy, there are too many posturing ingredients, and so many people get goosebumps. And there are so many people around that can look forward and back to the point of spraying rice, and it has to make people surprised, and then think that entertainment is entertainment, and you don't need to put your brains into it. Even if you know what he wants to fart and shit as soon as he shoves his ass, you have to pretend it's abrupt and go crazy. Just looking for fun to pass the time, everyone is really happy when everyone is happy, everyone gets what they need.
When I wrote this, I suddenly found that I was all criticizing in front of me. I smashed the domestic film and television circle with one stick. I was timid and afraid of attracting infamy. I also grew up eating food grown by myself, and I grew up watching domestic film and television all the way, and I have seen a little something. I don’t know if it’s the relationship between the ages, but my impressions are all ancient costume martial arts dramas, so everyone wanted to be a hero at that time, and a bunch of little kids danced knives and swords every day (all wooden things made by themselves), jumping over the wall Fighting is a mess. Just thinking about it makes you laugh, naive? Yes, the romantic era that is gone forever, with freshness and fragrance. The wheels of civilization are rushing forward. Children under the modern sky have no toys they bought, but only pitiful eyes of envy and helpless cry of grievance. At that time, we could just pick up a branch and make a gun, and then slap in the mouth. Chasing pigs, cats, dogs, chickens, wild children who run all day in the village. The so-called progress of civilization, have we also lost a lot?
There were many wonderful movies and TV shows at that time, I believe everyone can make a long list of their own. "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", "Journey to the West", "The Legend of Chu Liuxiang", "Joking about Qianlong", "The Legend of the New White Snake", "Shanghai Beach", "Once Upon a Time" series, "Fang Shiyu" series, etc. The story is old-fashioned, the structure is simple, and the scene is not magnificent, but it is smooth and natural. Now I have the opportunity to see it on TV, and I can watch it very quietly. Maybe my appreciation level is not high, maybe there is too much nostalgia in it, who knows?
Writing here, I want to say one more word: Classical should have the beauty of classical, special effects can be added, but please be more serious, don't make people unbearable, and don't ignore people's performances because of special effects.
Going too far, back to Prison Break. Everyone in the play is so stark and complex, the standards of good and evil become so blurred, no one is innocent, and when it gets close to reality, you realize that life is a trap.
Interest is a tempting piece of cake, and everyone revolves around it, but sometimes you have to make a choice, for someone or something. You choose and you are chosen.
Everyone's performances are so good that it's hard to cut your love, but I still have to make a painful choice to make a ranking with only the top three. The first is Michael Scofield, because he is the male protagonist, and he portrays composure and calmness so vividly, one look, one expression conveys thousands of things... The second is Theodore Bagwell, God, in this play, he Has a devilish performance! Action, expression, language are so perfect. If I were gay, at this moment he is the Marilyn Monroe with the Mona Lisa smile in my mind. I went to Alexander Mahone for the third spot for the simple reason that I love his crazy and neurotic side.
I have my own opinion on what people are saying about the four seasons of Prison Break. I also think the first season is the best, but that doesn't mean the other three seasons are worse. While the first season has done something well enough or even to the extreme, the task of the other three seasons is to finish the story sensibly and fluidly. Of course, this does not mean that it is perfunctory, let alone it does, and the standard is not worse than the first season, I think it is homogeneous, and more importantly, people will not experience aesthetic fatigue.
Life is full of surprises, coincidences, and serendipitous things, and even more so with what people in life create, so there's no need to be too harsh, trying to block all roads, and eliminate all unpredictable possibilities, after all, the beginning is to go end, no matter how.
Did everyone get what they wanted? Maybe they got what they deserved, it's just a drama after all.

Prison Break: The Final Break quotes

  • ND Guard 2: Is there anyone else here?

    Gretchen Morgan: Yes.

    ND Guard 2: Who?

    Gretchen Morgan: God.

    ND Guard 2: Excuse me?

Gretchen Morgan: He's always here. I was worried about my little girl on the outside so I came to pray to see if someone will watch over her.

ND Guard 2: I hope that daughter of yours is a hell of a lot smarter than you

    Gretchen Morgan: So do I.

  • Michael Scofield: You know we spend so much of our lives not saying the things we want to say... The things we should say. We speak in code, we send little messages; origami. So now, plainly, simply, I want to say that I love you both. Very much. And I want you to promise me, that you're gonna tell my child... that you're gonna tell my child how much they're loved everyday. And remind them how lucky they are... to be free, because we are. We're free now, finally. We're free.
