I watched this movie because of NICK. Tears welled up in my eyes after watching it. That's the power of rock and roll.
I will be like the audience in the film, happy for their happiness and sad for their sadness. When the radio station was about to be cut, they silently cried for them, and when they were killed, they were the first to rush to save them.
Everyone has fans, no matter how inconspicuous the characters. They are attracted by their persistence and enthusiasm. Because they live for music. I can't forget Quentin when he announced the government's decision to DOWN. Everyone is so tacit, fighting to the end for what they love. Like SIMON said, I survive because I live for music. Now, there is no reason to live, so I will die for it.
I can't forget the silence when COUNT finally said goodbye to the audience. It was as if time had stopped. In just a few minutes, it was as quiet as death. Everyone had tears in their eyes, tears of dreams being buried. "Only kidding, dudes, Let's rock!" COUNT's ecstatic voice, like the light of hope in Pandora's Box. Everyone is dancing. It's so magical, the power of ROCK'N'ROLL.
I was very impressed with the part where BOB was in the water with his son. Vinyl records float. They were like dancing in the water, forgetting for a moment that they were in a life-or-death situation. Everything looks so wonderful. With Father And Son by Cat Stevens, sing softly,
It's not time to make a change
Just relax, take it easy
You're still young, that's your fault
There's so much you have to know
They sang, they danced, and lived for what they dreamed and believed. Dare to say no to the government.
Because music is everything to them.
Really like this retro tone. Including the music, costumes, and simplicity of that era.
I'm such an overly nostalgic person, even beyond my age.
Even at the end of the world, we still rock'n'roll.
At least, rock is not something we did not have, at least, we can still miss and pay tribute.
PS, the original sound is really powerful. I love these hippies and the pure sea.
