At first, I was attracted by Akeelah's monologue at the beginning of the film, the feeling of being alone and out of tune with the surroundings, so I looked down. Maybe it's a beautiful film, hehe, she has an amazing talent for spelling.
What touched me in the film was the encouragement and support of Akeelah's company. Although she has a mother who has no time to take into account her inner feelings, she also has a very good brother, some good friends, and a professor. She is even spelling out. Companions in the competition are so open and eager to help her.
At the end of the film, Akeelah's monologue echoes the Prime Minister's. She found that feeling of happiness and finally spelled "love" with her family and friends!
The plot is not very good, but it will be deeply moved, and the warmth will remain!
