Kikujiro is a relatively vulgar man. He is afraid of his wife, likes to gamble, and speaks vulgarly. Unexpectedly, he is forced to go on the road with Masao, who is looking for his mother. Along the way, staying in a hotel, taking a ride, being lost after finding it, meeting a fat poet and a bald man, four people making Zhengxiong happy, etc. There are no complicated plots and characters, but all make people happy, but it is these simple plots. Together, they are indescribably touched.
Kijiro is also a very simple man. The vulgarity in his words and the recklessness of his actions are the real embodiment and the unreserved display. His rudeness is only reflected in these subsections, but the care and concern for Zhengxiong, and the sadness in his eyes when he went to visit his mother, are the true manifestation of his kindness.
(My favorite is the combination of bald head, fat man and poet, naked Indian dance with bald head, octopus, alien shape, fat man's watermelon shape... One, two, three traffic lights... It's so fun, haha~)
Shooting method: Unlike most movies, this movie has no background music in many cases, and the camera habitually slows down the rhythm, but when you get used to this rhythm, you can find that this is the warmth and moving needs.
Background music: The original sound of the movie is also quite classic. Hisaishi's interpretation has raised this movie to at least one level.
