The plot always feels a little hesitant to speak, so I don't know if our director Chen Kaige encountered such a problem, and the characters in it all handled it quite well. In many respects, there could have been dramatic conflicts and were handled gently.
After watching it, it was Emily who left a deep impression. Although Emily played a supporting role in Queen Wearing Prada, she was more impressed by her than the big-eyed girl, and it was the kind of charm that I would think of from time to time.
Maybe because watching Cate Blanchett as Elizabeth was too strong, and watching Helen Mirren as the current queen was too kind, so Emily's Victoria would inevitably give people a sense of civilians and nobility.
There is also the puppy raised by Victoria in the film. It is so cute. He poses for the owner obediently, and when the owner talks to others, he also obediently crawls to the side.
