I think the biggest shock was when Jack told Eddie in the ambulance that he was also the person Eddie was suing, which should have given Jack a reason to kill Eddie, but he didn't, he let Eddie go, and went to his partner to get evidence, Erase Eddie's case and serve two years in prison.
Eddie likes to talk very much, reminds me of the comrade in Gun forest, who has been nagging about opening a shrimp farm in the future, maybe it is this vision that allows them to relax in a stressful environment.
