When it was released in China, the translated name was "Heart of the King". I wanted to rely on "Brave Heart", and the publicity also tried to blow it up. In fact, in my opinion, this film is very beautiful, classical, and has no commercial value. It's just a love story that is "unfavorable and hard to hold". Against the background of the rivalry between the two countries, two poor people are tricked by fate and used by power. The person they love most is in front of them, but they cannot hold hands. This is the best interpretation of the farthest distance in the world.
Perhaps due to the influence of domestic propaganda, I was very disappointed with the depiction of war in the film. The war scenes in the cold weapon era are my favorite, but unfortunately, they were originally from romance films, so the war scenes were just explained, and there was a cutscene. However, if I want to see it as a love movie, I don't think it's very touching. The plot is twisty enough, but why should we use sex scenes to express love? Do these two people want more than love? The scenes of life and death are nothing but the same, Korean dramas are more sensational than them.
A small poem is more charming than a movie. In fact, I prefer the translation of subtitles, although not every word is translated, but it is more poetic.
