Where did Infernal Affairs hide all the money from the gangsters?

This movie is good, much better than "Batman Dark 2". To be a knight, you must have a standard, either do it well or don't do it. Batman is so tangled that it can be said to be useless, which allows the Joker to flatten and shape him at will and play with plasticine.
After reading all the comments, I found that the fans asked a lot of inexplicable questions, as if they wanted to question the character of the characters, such as why the little girl likes the Punisher and so on. These questions do not need to be answered and are unreasonable. It is estimated that Batman's inner tangle is more suitable for this type of audience.

What I don't understand is, where does Infernal Affairs hide the money from the gangsters? The video said that after handing in a lot of fans, the FBI partner sucked it in. But the money didn't say, after all, if Infernal Affairs doesn't want to expose it easily, it shouldn't transfer the money prematurely. After opening the safe, it seems that there is no money in it.

Did you understand what you didn't tell me?
