Probably many people do not know that the original work of this warm and suitable film for any age group comes from a female writer in Germany. Her original work is called "Two Little Roots", which was nominated for the Andersen Literature Award in the early 1990s. work.
When I was about 8 years old, my mother and father took me to the Xinhua Bookstore in our city to buy this set of works for me because of my good test scores. There are 5 books in total, all of them are great. Among them, besides "Two Ita" by Miyoko Matsutani, my favorite is this "Two Small Roots". The heroines in it were called Louis & Root at that time, because their father's name was Louis Root, so after the mother gave birth to the twin daughters, one of their names was named Louis and the other was named Lute.
Afterwards Louis went to Munich with his father, who was a composer. My mother took Lute. In another city, my mother was a newspaper columnist.
Just like in the film, the two little guys also met at summer camp.
Oh when I saw this movie in my 20s, my first reaction was, Louis and Luther! Lindsay Lohan's acting skills in it are very good, and the image of that naughty and cute little girl is vividly played. It's especially fun when two little girls swap identities and go on an adventure.
In the original book, a lot of interaction between Lut and his father and Louis and his mother were added, which was very touching. Louis and Lut communicate with each other, and the plot of dealing with the future stepmother is also very interesting.
It's a pity that the movie has cut these scenes due to time problems, and the focus is on the scenes of the two little girls.
All in all, it's a fairly faithful film to the original.
For this reason, I also went to find the original book when I was 8 years old, only to find out that it was missing, so I had to go to Zhuoyue to make up a copy.
