doubt can doubt, very doubt!

The most distinctive and successful thing about this film is that it is a metaphor for real life in the world.

Life is not like this, no one can see the whole picture, the so-called 'truth' is just the part of everyone's 'self-righteousness'. Even if there is a God, it is impossible to see the full truth of everything.

Life is not a script pre-arranged by directors and screenwriters. There are far more 'random' things in life than 'certain' things. And most things will not develop in the direction that people expected or calculated in advance, so there will be deep doubts about yourself and your so-called beliefs due to the unexpected results in the ending of the film.

The third point is that in real life, everyone is both an actor and a director of their own life. Life is a process in which you keep directing and acting, revising the script, and continuing to perform. So 'doubt' 'doubt' 'no answer' 'unexpected' 'everything is possible' 'swinging in confidence and loss'... is the normality of life, and this is the underlying meaning of the film I saw .

============
I gradually discovered that the boundary between good and evil is not between countries, between classes, parties and parties, but in everyone's heart Pass through, pass through in the hearts of all people. It's a moving line that wobbles over the years. --Solzhenitsyn, "The Gulag Archipelago"

    Immediately afterwards, they looked at suspiciously, and it turned out that the two suspiciously had nothing to do with each other. They were relatively indifferent to this film, with a long and boring conversation and an annoying old maiden.

    Great acting. I am so glad I am in SF for Xmas break. This movie is limited, only on in NY/LA/SF.

  • Sister Aloysius Beauvier: James Hurley, what are you doing out of class?

    Jimmy Hurley: Sister James sent me down.

    Sister Aloysius Beauvier: For what?

    Jimmy Hurley: Talking.

    Sister Aloysius Beauvier: Well, go back up and SHUT UP!
