The beginning of the film is quite exciting, the lights on the subway flicker on and off, the bloody hacking and so on, and so on, which is quite satisfying to me. But after watching half of it, I gradually realized that the post-production, photography, and plot of this film made me and my friends laugh. For example, photography is always taken from one angle, namely, Jun Zhixian's bowing his head and raising his eyes to shoot her at a 45° angle, throughout, no matter how beautiful she is, it doesn't need to be emphasized so much. There are also all the bad fights in it, people can't help but sigh that the film without Hong Jiaban's knowledge is so bad that even Weiya's trajectory is clearly visible, and the blunt action can be compared with the first version of "Journey to the West" Sun Wukong Compared to flying in the sky. The funniest scene is the "Ghost Source" spitting out black blood during the final duel. In one of the shots, her chin was covered in black ink. When she raised her head, she felt the joy of a Stephen Chow movie. At this moment, he couldn't help laughing, and at this moment, Quan Zhixian still had some dried black ink on his face. And the ribbons floating on Xiaoxue's body, it's really hard for people not to think of her as undefeated in the East... Of course, the most important thing is the exaggerated expression of "Kato", his Ling Ran turning back and running, it is clearly a turtle The rebirth of the immortal, my god, this is obviously a tragic drama of life and death.
Looking at Jun Ji-hyun's previous films in South Korea, the quality is basically better than this set. So I can't help but feel sorry for her, but it's not necessarily a bad thing, who doesn't start with a bad movie when entering Hollywood. There is also a film I believe everyone remembers, "Speed Racing" played by Rain. After watching it, I have always suspected that it is a children's cartoon, which is completely challenging the bottom line of our Asian audience. What does it mean to play people like monkeys? Think we don't know what a movie is or what? Think about our own stars such as Jet Li and others when they first arrived in Hollywood, they were fooled into making a lot of bad movies.
I don't know what Americans think, but as far as I am concerned, these two films can only be regarded as B-level films. If there are no Asian actors, I don't think they would have been introduced at all. But maybe their market positioning is basically Asia, that is, use your big-name actors to make a bad movie and then use Hollywood gimmicks to make your money. Of course, this is just my personal conspiracy theory, and I have no idea what kind of mentality this type of film has.
When I came back and looked at the original cartoon, I found that my favorite opening part was completely copied. So disappointed again.
