The process of change and the process of acceptance

This is definitely a good movie that deserves a five-star recommendation.

However, a film critic like me, who is not even an amateur, cannot express the relationship and emotional entanglement of the characters in this drama in words.
It is recommended to take a look at it yourself.

Although it is a drama, the whole story is not procrastinated at all. Although it may be a little unclear at the beginning, as the plot progresses, some things will be understood more clearly. At least not a sleepy drama.

The film uses a lot of documentary-like tracking long shots, which seems to lead you to follow a younger sister who just got a vacation from the rehabilitation center because of her sister's wedding, experience this big family gathering and the disputes about family and friendship between each other.

The younger sister once caused a car accident due to drug use, resulting in the death of her young brother, and she repents and hopes to be forgiven;
her sister has always loved and hated her sister's bad and rebellious behavior, and even after the incident happened to her brother, There is more hatred for his sister; the
father plays the image of a loving father who loves his two daughters, but cannot hide the pain
of losing his son in the details; and the divorced mother seems to have always used her sister as a shield for fault;

because At the sister's wedding, all the family relationships that had been covered up and were almost flawless were now turned into undercurrents by the return of the repentant sister.
The younger sister has been trying to change, she hopes to have such a chance to be forgiven by her family, but like the embarrassing speech at the dinner party, she has become pale and powerless.

At the end of the film, when the younger sister got into the guardian's car and returned to the rehabilitation center, the elder sister smiled, became stunned, and walked into the garden to watch her husband and friends at the BBQ, with their backs to the screen, for a long time.

Starring Anne Hathaway, one of my favorite heroines recently. I like the look on her cry of joy when she stands behind her sister and hears "you may kiss each other". very touching.

PS: The huge family members make people look a little jealous.
