Not only is the film inspired by the Beatles songs, but also most of the characters' names, such as Jude, Mr. Kate, Dr. Robert and Lucy, as well as the film's title Across the Universe.
Personally, I think the scene when Prudence sings I Want To Hold Your Hand is very scary, and Joe Anderson's cover of Hey Jude is very good. The name of the protagonist Jude is also derived from this song.
The movie is a bit boring on the whole, it is equivalent to the MV of the beatals movie version, but the beatals songs are covered very well. After watching it, just download the OST to listen to it~~
