The first part, Gas Station, is a tense serial killer thriller set in the middle of the night at a gas station. . The area has seen a spate of recent serial homicides targeting women, and the newly recruited female college student in charge of the night shift at the gas station has become a new target for the killer. Carpenter's suspense is well set, keeping its "Halloween" suspenseful style. Horror film directors Wes Craven and Sam Raimi also made cameos in the segment.
The second part, "Hair," is a sci-fi dark comedy. Played by veteran movie star Stacey Kitcher, the male protagonist played by him has increasingly serious hair loss. Only by finding ways to increase his hair can he increase his masculine charm and self-confidence. So he came to the doctor with the repairing necrotic skin according to the TV commercial... The next day, his hair was really new, but strange things followed... The role of the doctor is also the veteran British actor David Warner.
The third part, "Eyes," was directed by director Toby Hooper. The idea of this film is somewhat like a shooting project that Hitchcock had abandoned at the time. It tells the story of a baseball player who suffers a car accident and is blinded in his right eye. The hospital used the eyeball of a deceased man for transplantation. After recovery, the baseball player often saw terrible visions. After investigation, he found out that his eyeball came from a perverted murderer, and his own behavior began to become more and more terrible... I personally don't like Toby Hooper's movies, but this one is pretty good. The film is played by "Star Wars" actor Mark Hamill, and his performance in this segment is very wonderful. It's worth mentioning that Roger Coleman made a cameo role as the Doctor in this segment.
PS: Toby Hooper also played an anatomist who dissected John Carpenter in the final appearance.
Although the story of "Body Bag" is a little weak, it is as entertaining as "Yin and Yang", allowing the audience to experience the fun of horror movies.
