Beirut's beaches

Never experienced war. But the Lebanon painted in the film is exactly the same as the memory of the summer of 2007 in my mind. On the Beirut seaside, one side of the road is the blue Mediterranean Sea. Occasionally people swim, and the other side is people going to empty buildings. It is dark at night. Only soldiers patrol the side of the road and set up roadblocks. This place, close to the mountains and the sea, should be a treasure land, but the same war process of reincarnation for decades makes people have to sigh the fate of this land and the local people.
