In the afternoon, I watched "The Undertaker" in my room alone. It seems that all of a sudden, the sun is so close to death. Fortunately, this death is also full of tenderness because of the existence of the mortuary teacher Xiaolin.
If he hadn't entered the mortuary industry by mistake, Kobayashi might still be struggling between dreams and reality. When fate pushed him to the profession of mortuary, his tenderness was slowly rippling through this profession, and his life also blossomed and warmed because of facing death again and again like this.
Death is our final destination. The first time Xiaolin saw the rotting corpse being eaten by maggots, he couldn't help but vomit. He was lying quietly on the bridge railing alone, watching the river struggling to swim to catch fish, watching the dead fish floating on the river, he said in a low and melancholy tone to the old man passing by that they were all going to die. Isn't it, why do you have to live so hard? When really thinking about death for the first time, yes, it's just depression. Therefore, some people will sink.
Later, he asked the president to resign, and the president invited Xiaolin to eat fish together. He said that all living things eat living things to survive, which is fated. But you still have to eat, and eat well. This fish is so delicious.
This life is destined to go through hardships and depression, destined to die, but it is still to live, and to live well.
Most of us, usually avoid talking about or discussing death as if we were going to live forever. For us, death is far away, corpses are dirty, and death is a taboo. So when Kobayashi's wife found out that he was an undertaker, and got rid of Kobayashi's hands that wanted to hug her, she said, don't touch me, I feel dirty. She didn't want to face death all day long. After Kobayashi came home from the first contact with the rotting corpse, he saw that the fresh chicken his wife had put on the table vomited. Then, he hugged his wife tightly, lifted her clothes, and kissed her warm skin. The rotten corpse made him so close to death, the dead, no matter what they were, will rot and become nothing. Everything that was alive will become rotten, including you and me. He hugged so tightly, as if his intimate lover would disappear in an instant.
You know how to live when you know you will die. Facing the corpses, Xiaolin patiently brushed off his clothes, scrubbed his body, and painted the most beautiful faces for those who embarked on the journey of death. He did everything so tenderly and skillfully. In his eyes, those who died and lost their breath were still lives worthy of respect even if they died. The song in the movie made me cry. Xiaolin plucked his strings in the wild green and played this touching music. The picture shows him being buried again and again, sending away those who died but still had dignity with his gentle hands. Later, he also used these hands to send away the father he once hated who abandoned him. With his hands, he played the beautiful movement of his life.
I couldn't stop crying several times throughout the film. Many people live hard, and many people live without knowing why. A lot of people are living, and a lot of people are dying of depression. Individual life is fragile, some people avoid it, and some people choose to face it. Sun saw me crying uncontrollably and said, stop crying, she is really a little girl, I know why those sour writers are so marketable. I knew he was avoiding facing these inner emotions. He has already put a hard shell on his heart, always smiling at people, no matter how bitter his heart is, he shows what a man calls strength. I didn't speak, I knew he didn't want to face it, or was used to it. I also know that under that hard shell lies a soft and sensitive heart, which is kind, fragile, easily moved, and easily injured. I didn't introduce him to the movie, and most of the time, he would rather play games than watch movies. But I know this movie will definitely touch his heart, no matter how thick his shell is. Because I have seen the tears he held back at his mother's funeral, and I have also seen the tenderness in his eyes when he saw the child.
Everyone has a soft heart. In the icy journey, whether hard or dazed, let us warm each other with our hearts.
