"Rebel", the new 007 to become the guerrilla leader

New 007 classmate Daniel used his bitter face to play a very frustrated Jewish guerrilla leader. Based on a true story, it tells the story of a group of amateur Jewish refugees who formed a guerrilla group in the forest and tried their best to survive under the ravages of the Nazis and the cold winter. The story is average, no matter how well shot it is, it is difficult to have passion. Basically, I watched it very dull, because it was so based on a true story that there was no high-level heroic deeds for us to worship. Some are stories of leaders who grew up in suffocation.
As a leader, Tuvina is not so smooth. The enemy is too powerful, the organization is too lax, the conditions are too difficult, and one's own morality has not sublimated, so you must fight against everything around you, including yourself. Barely did not be a bad luck, or slowly grow up. A lot of people are arguing about the justice of this Jewish partisan. Because Tuvina killed almost all the enemy's family for personal revenge, and later led everyone to rob peasants and torture prisoners... Basically a gang of gangsters. Some people say that even if the Jews are the most innocent victims of World War II, they can't do bad things when they are justified, and they can't be hooligans when they are justified! Some people say, child, naive, right? You will understand when there is a war. If you are starving to death, you don’t care whether it’s robbery or stealing. If your parents are dead, you don’t care whether the enemy’s two sons are innocent? ! Final summary: War is the most destructive of human nature, be it physical or spiritual. Under war, no one can maintain complete justice. If you don't believe me, you can find a place where you are fighting to develop your pure sense of justice and see if the bullets don't fall on you. Some people say it well, the chef of the restaurant does not necessarily have to kill the chicken! It's a true story, very real, so we don't see the brilliance of the railroad guerrillas' machining depiction. This film is neither intended to expose the bad side of Jewish victims, nor is it a tribute to the great Jewish partisans. It means a group of people who want to live, no more~
As a leader, Tuvina is well described. He started to get frustrated. Killing the enemy but knowing in the heart that vendetta can not fill the pain in the heart. Take care of the people out of good intentions, but you have to take the responsibility to the end. It is nice to have a glorious leadership on a white horse, but when there is no food, the horses are killed and eaten. In the face of provocateurs, there is no time to give a speech and use the inner justice to defeat the weakness and evil of the opponent's consciousness. The captives are innocent, on a certain level, but the people are angry, and in order to prevent the spiritual strings of the people from being stretched too tightly, the proper eye of justice closes one eye, the pain of the heart and the "alive" that does not require a heart. Such beautiful words are trivial compared to the reality. In the face of the strength of the enemy, the spiritual strength of the leader may not be comparable to that of his younger brother. Everyone will be hesitant. Always strong is a machine. The leader does not represent the group. The spiritual strength of the group is the ultimate strength. In short, the aggrieved guerrilla leader is portrayed in a very real and three-dimensional manner.
When you feel that this movie is too idealistic or contrary to your inner aesthetic and morals, please remember that it is a true story, and a true story means existence is reasonable.

  • Asael Bielski: Nothing is impossible, what we all have done is impossible!

  • Shamon Haretz: Merciful God, we commit our friends - Ben Zion and Krensky - to You. We have no more prayers, no more tears; we have run out of blood. Choose another people. We have paid for each of Your commandments; we have covered every stone and field with ashes. Sanctify another land. Choose another people. Teach them the deeds and the prophesies. Grant us but one more blessing: take back the gift of our holiness. Amen.
