I don't want to believe:Dana Scully is realy old

It's just another X-Files movie, and it's not terrific, and it's not nothing. As someone who used to be obsessed with the "X-Files" episodes, it's enough to see Dana Scully and Fox Mulder on the screen again, not to mention knowing that their relationship is finally working out, what more So demanding. In a sense, this movie may be a gift for fans of "The X-Files". Those who really want to get this gift will enjoy it, and those who don't want to get it will have a completely thoughtful attitude towards this movie.
What really disappointed me a bit is that Dana Scully is really getting a little old, not just the obvious wrinkles, but she no longer has a gun, no more documents to introduce herself as a special agent of the FBI, and is using science. Knowledge is less passionate about explaining unnatural phenomena. She becomes a doctor, struggling with the dilemma of saving her patients with painful and uncertain new methods or letting them die. She is always kept away from the main case of the story, and only occasionally helps out. We can only recall her style in the scene where she confronts the priest.
Anyway, I waited for this movie and it didn't disappoint me too much.

The X Files: I Want to Believe quotes

  • Fox Mulder: This is not an exact science. If it were me, I'd be on the guy 24/7. I'd be in bed with him kissing his holy ass.

ASAC Dakota Whitney: Father Joe is a convicted pedophile.

Fox Mulder: [surprised] ... Maybe I'd stay out of bed with him.

  • Dana Scully: Yeah, well, it's been fun.

Fox Mulder: Scully? Nobody's gonna make you sit next to him.

Dana Scully: Thanks, but I've already been taken for a ride. Anyway, he doesn't want me there.

Fox Mulder: I want you here.

Dana Scully: This isn't my life anymore, Mulder. I'm done chasing monsters in the dark.
