The last paragraph is over-character...
Beneath the snow is often the dirtiest, and the City of Angels is no exception. The whole prostitutes like Hollywood movie stars ruined their star dreams but catered to the most vulgar desires. High-level police officers assassinated and cleaned up the underworld but also took over the business of the opposite. The three policemen have their own plans, but they also have justice in their hearts to fight against the darkness. Defective character creation is more realistic and three-dimensional, and it also makes the confrontation between good and evil that wander on the edge of law and morals lively. The shootout at the climax is particularly enjoyable, from which you can feel the style of the golden age Hong Kong film shootout scenes such as "The True Colors of a Hero" and "The Dragon and the Tiger". What is regrettable is the final oral narration of Asli at the police station. Perhaps the director and screenwriter were afraid that the audience did not understand the ins and outs of the story and the complicated relationship between the characters, so they did it intentionally. However, in my personal opinion, this "showing timidity" has weakened the classic weight of the film. In fact, through the interaction of the three protagonists when investigating the case, it is a matter of course that the whole incident is strung together. There is no need to tell them all through the bamboo tube pouring the beans. It is too straightforward to lose the label as suspenseful. Three starring actors: Gapierce has made his way through the pit of teammates. In the movie, he has the world. Russell Crowe's violent temper looks more like a true character. He fired the most shots and suffered the most venomous beatings, and it was not easy for a set scavenger. Kevin Spacey enjoys the top treatment of posters and casts, but has the least drama. He only shook his fist from start to finish. The real winner is this effortless and flattering praise from the film critics.
