third world

"Slumdog Millionaire", a tragic comedy with laughter and tears, won the applause of the Golden Globes, Oscars and even the audience with almost no suspense, becoming the biggest winner this year. When I wanted to talk about this film, I couldn't help but think of the other two films "The Kite Runner" and "My Father, My Son", which tell the story of the third world. It should be said that they are also quite rare boutiques. These are two stories about Afghanistan and Turkey, respectively, and the director also just seems to inadvertently point to the softest place in your heart.
We also live in the third world. In fact, when watching these films, the reality around us always flashes in our minds from time to time. Many things seem familiar and familiar, as most of our generation can still recall the material embarrassment of childhood; Children in the city who are used as tools for stealing by adults; beggars with various stumps under the overpass; and the gap between the rich and the poor in reality, the cruelty of life, and the cruelty of human nature. . . . .
I remember working in poverty alleviation many years ago. When I arrived in a small town called Zhou Tan in Sandu, the mayor laughed at himself: "We are the twelfth world here." I thought it was funny, so I asked him, "How is the twelfth world?" He smiled and replied: "China is the third world of the world, Guizhou is the third world of China, and all three are the third world of Guizhou. , and we are the third world in the three capitals, and the four third worlds add up, so we are the twelfth world." Another time I took these friends to the countryside for a donation activity, and I happened to meet the director of a local poverty alleviation office. When it comes to his views on donation activities, he said: "The countryside has nurtured the city for many years, and donation should be the feedback behavior of the city to the countryside." What is feedback? It should be a rewarding parenting, and what we do is so meager that it can be ignored. In an instant, the sense of superiority that I had been proud of before was shattered. In fact, the stories of laughter and tears are often around us. . . . . .
But just like the happy ending or the hope of life given by the movie, we should still see the light of reality, people's family affection, persistent pursuit of love, and the light of unyielding resistance in human nature. We should be glad that we can see the people's livelihood. More and more sober, more and more transparent information, more and more open society, more and more powerful civil forces. These should be the beacons to guide us forward. . . . . .
