Outstanding performance in key roles saves the movie

Both the protagonist and his son are in prison to supervise the execution of death row inmates. They have strong racial views. Later, after being hit by the loss of their son, they have a relationship with a black widow on death row who suffers from the same illness. Some critics call it a masterpiece of realism because it touches on topics such as race and the death penalty. It is a pity that the director is incompetent, and the script is cunning. From time to time, the audience is shocked by the pictures (such as electric torture in direct shooting, dew point sex), and then destroys the audience's expectations; fortunately, the latter part is back on the right track, and the main characters are outstanding (such as Holba). No wonder Li won the golden statue when she performed in "Blind Body") and rescued the film. (10/06) http://mcyiwenzhi.blogspot.com/2009/03/monsters-ball-2001.html
