A director who only came out to make his debut film at such a young age, his debut film is either bad or very powerful.

Like this movie, it's pretty powerful. Looking at it separately, the words chapter tells about the powerlessness of language. A young monk and a young girl can live in harmony even if they don’t understand the language. The girl was not killed by the alien race who was chasing him, but her own who spoke the same language as herself. elder brother. The face chapter smashes people's faces again, telling that even in the United Kingdom and the United States, violence and estrangement between people still cannot be saved. And the last picture chapter tells that even taking pictures can kill people. So the whole world is full of violence.

The film tells that time turns into a circle, and the end returns to the beginning. But this does not mean pessimism, but gives hope in the end. time doesnt die, circle is not round. The story is a circle, but not a circle. The difference is that at the end of the picture chapter, the rain finally started to fall. This rain can just wash away the blood's intentions that appear in the movie, quelling all violence. It also liberates the audience from the constant suppression.

In contrast, another recent rookie director's work has been suppressed to the end, "Parking". This is also a very powerful work. Every character in the story is being pulled by external forces. Although their original purpose is very simple, they are all pulled to a far-reaching and unpredictable and uncontrollable disaster. But compared to Manchevski, Zhong Menghong still seems to be lacking in skills in some places. For example, in the end, there is no need to let Zhang Zhen go back and say that string of words, and let the old lady say it clearly. She actually knows that she is lying to her; because in fact, the expression of the old lady when Zhang Zhen accompanied them to dinner and left was already obvious. (although it is indeed necessary for Zhang Zhen to go back and get the little girl). And the final ending is also because the director's grasp of emotions is a little out of control. Although a little bug expresses the bright tail of "how many setbacks we have encountered, how many legs we have broken, we still have many legs to take us forward", but Apparently he didn't regain his strength, and he was still depressed to death. But anyway, the movie is still good.

The shots of the two films are very good, and the atmosphere in some places is even very similar, a kind of summer atmosphere.

Come summer soon.
