what's missing

Less stuff that makes you feel slightly suffocated. There is actually a lot more to explain, for example, why did the insects get so big while the size of the rocks they dropped didn't change (I personally think it's a big flaw)? Why only protect them for 200 years? Why is such an important box forgotten (I think it should be the most concerned thing, after all, the countdown is about life) The water is flowing high?

If it were me, I could add some drama. For example, some parts of that mutilated picture were misunderstood or something.
All in all, there seems to be something missing. It's only a bit tense at the sluice section.

In fact, I was still moved, but it was not the last sunrise, but the note that taught them how to use matches.

The mechanics in the film are very interesting, and the props, including the costumes, are well designed.

Uninteresting, rough. The shape is ugly and the characters are abrupt. The first five minutes of the game were still able to arouse people's spirits, and the next 60 minutes were lethargic. The final turnaround came too late, and the box office fiasco was inevitable.

An English unsubtitled version watched in a movie theater. The original intention was just to pass the time with a cup of giant coke. Then it turns out that Coke is worth more than movie tickets.

City of Ember quotes

  • Loris Harrow: [narrating] Lina and Doon tied their hope to a rock and tossed it down toward the city. The rock could've ended up on a roof. Or kicked into a gutter. But fate ran another course. And the message found its way. Now the path was clear for all. All of us who kept the flame of Ember burning, through the darkness, so that we could live again on the earth, in the air and the light.

  • Loris Harrow: [to Doon] Builders were wise when they said, "If you have proof, you have to pursue it!" There's more to a bottle cap than keeping liquid from leaking out of glass!
