Suspense, there, like why Hector pulled out a gun and killed a customer, what happened to the kid, who was the traitor, etc.
Hot scenes, there, crossing the river and street fighting.
Humor, there is, such as the newspaper thrown from the upstairs, the light that suddenly lights up, the first encounter between the boy and the chocolate giant, and so on.
Nude, yes.
Happy ending, yes.
Not to mention the condemnation of bureaucracy, racism, brutal war, betrayal.
It's not a documentary in itself, but the overall feeling is quite real.
One detail I don't quite understand is that the German officer gave Hector a pistol. If this happened in China, the officer should go to court martial.
All in all, it's worth recommending, I won't regret it.
