A very touching film, but there is no sensational atmosphere to set off, everything comes so naturally, perhaps because of Kevin Costner's superb acting skills, or because of Andy Davis' careful directing.
He was a legend, everyone said so, but he never said much about himself. So, whether he saved 200 or 300 people has become a mystery to everyone. When Kevin was about to leave the Coast Guard, Ashton Kutcher asked him the question a second time, and he answered 22. Ashton said with a smile, thankfully it wasn't 200. Kevin added that this is the number of people he didn't save.
With his philosophy of not giving up on one person when possible, Kevin made himself a legend, an insurmountable legend. However, it is this philosophy that he has adhered to for nearly 20 years, but in one mission, he lost all his teammates. After the days of training rookies at the base, Kevin, who has calmed down, realized another truth, that is, he must not do anything beyond his ability, and some people can only give up if they have to.
However, when Ashton, who took his place on a mission, needed help and the guards needed help, he still took out the boxed equipment without hesitation and boarded the rescue plane again. The last mission was perfect until the commander reported that the frayed ropes could not hold Ashton and Kevin who were last from the wreck. Ashton decided to be the same as Kevin before, risking his tendons to be pulled off, and pulling him to fly for 20 minutes, Kevin tore the glove's adhesive tape and fell into the sea of whirlpools everywhere.
Legend has it that a man lives at the bottom of the sea, he is a fisherman, and he is the last ray of hope for those who fall into the water! He will say to persevere, I will not give up on you, I will always be with you until the person who saves you arrives!
Movie After the end, the music played, the singing came, it turned out to be the husky and powerful Bryan Adams, straight to the heart!
